CUNA/Travelex Prepaid Currency Cards are a turnkey program and there is no need to change your membership status or establish a new BIN to sell cards through our program. This minimizes risk, reporting requirements, and costs to the credit union. There are no annual or start-up fees with our program. No out-of-pocket expenses to start offering the Prepaid Currency Card Program.

TravelMoney Card

The TravelMoney Card is a prepaid VISA debit card that offers a better alternative to travelers cheques and cash. Members can use VISA TravelMoney at over 1 million ATMs and 25 million merchants worldwide. Members have unlimited reload capabilities on their card that can be completed at the credit union, by phone, or online.

Cash Passport is a prepaid MasterCard card issued in Great British Pounds (GBP), Euros (EUR) or US Dollars (USD) offering travelers a better way to travel. These cards are accepted at most ATMs that displays the MasterCard®, Maestro, or Cirrus Acceptance Marks and used at merchants everywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted worldwide. Members may reload their card 24 times at the credit union or by phone.

Currency Online
Your credit unions are able to order banknotes, drafts and card products over the Internet for credit union delivery through a link placed on the credit union’s teller interface.

My Travel Wallet^SM
Your members are able to order banknotes and card products over the Internet for home delivery through a link placed on the credit union’s website.

Foreign Currency
Your members are able to order foreign denominated banknotes or sell back to your credit union their foreign denominated banknotes

Travelex CashPax™
Travelex CashPax is a convenient, bill-sized packet of foreign currency in small denominations. CashPax are available in Euros, Pounds, Yen, Australian & Canadian Dollars and Mexican Pesos.

Foreign Checks/Collection Items
This service is available to credit unions where they may obtain domestic funds for foreign currency denominated checks and foreign drawn U.S. dollar checks.

Drafts & Wires
Service is provided to credit unions where they may obtain international drafts drawn on accounts maintained by Travelex, and may obtain international funds transfers, executed by wire or other means.
